Air Force Command Headquarters Released a Press Release Explaining the Matter of “Captain Lin Suspected of Bullying Comrades”. (July 15th, 2019)

Regarding the media coverage of “Captain Lin Suspected of Bullying Comrades”, the Air Force Command Headquarters has provided the following explanations today (15th):

1. In regard to the misconduct of Captain Lin, who is affiliated with the Air Operation Center of the Air Force Command Headquarters, the command headquarters has transferred Lin from his current position, and began investigation on the incident. The captain will be punished according to the law should there be any confirmed violations, with no quarter given.

2. The command headquarters hereby clarifies that media speculations of “Certain Female Captain Nearly Had a Miscarriage from Lin’s Verbal Abuse” and “Captain Wei Discharged Due to the Working Environment and Pressure” have proven to be false interpretation after investigation.

3. Air Force Command Headquarters emphasized that it will uphold the principle of “The Innocents Will Not Be Wronged, and the Guilty Will Be Severely Punished” when handling comrades’ violations, and will continue to reinforce the propaganda of military law as well as refine on rational discipline and education in order to prevent similar incidents from occurring again in the future.
